The so called "Taiwan Civil Government" is a scam. They prey on under-informed, under-educated, or marginalized population. They sell fake ID, and license plates to the public, and claim their ID is equivalent to US ID which allow them to enjoy the same right as the citizen of the United States. They also sell expensive "classes" to the members, and claim once they take over the Taiwan government with the assistance of the United States, those who take the classes will become political appointees in the government. They also solicit donations to support the so-called law sue against the United States and Taiwan government for not giving them US citizenship or Japanese citizenship. The leader of this organization Roger Lin and his wife were arrested by Taiwan justice system in May 2018 for scam and money laundering. During the raid, law enforcement agency discovered cash over $5.5 million dollars hidden behind designer handbags and clothes in Lin's apartment closet. They have been out on bail, and waited for trial. Roger Lin is also on Taiwan's top tax evader list. Therefore, the majority of his real properties are under his wife's name. His wife and children have Canadian citizenship and have moved some of the money to offshore accounts.
